Dear Chapter Members:
There are always individuals who, through their vision and extraordinary effort, make a significant contribution, but go unacknowledged by newspapers and award programs. Without their leadership, public service programs would not happen, educational opportunities would reach fewer people, and many solutions to society's needs just would not materialize.
The AIA Potomac Valley Chapter wishes to recognize professionals, volunteers and other colleagues whose efforts have increased the public's awareness of the role of architecture in our lives. We are pleased to announce our service awards program, "The Paul H. Kea Medal," which will be presented at the Awards Banquet in October.
